Andreas Kintis in recognition of his contribution to the area of Economics and Econometrics throughout his academic career at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Andreas Kintis has served as rector of AUEB for 10 years and has led the university through an exceptional growth by tripling the number of undergraduate departments and increasing the number of graduate programmes (the number of incoming graduate students per year has increased for 35 in 1990 to over 600 in 2001).
