eMythical hero Theseus, was mostly famous for killing Minotaur in Minoan Crete. The large Greek island had a magnificent civilization at that time, later destroyed by earthquakes.
The glorious king of Crete, Minos, creator of the Cretan golden era, had imposed a capital tax on Athens. Once a year, the city was obliged to send to Crete a bunch of young girls and boys to feed the monstrous Minotaur, a creature half-man, half-bull, living in the Labyrinth.
Theseus, joins a team of such young people sent to Crete, and decides to put an end to this misery, by killing Minotaur.
This book, narrates the glorious deed of Theseus in the Labyrinth.
