Kontoléon, Mános


Κοντολέων, Μάνος



 

Ianos Kondoleon was born in Athens, in 1946. He studied physics at the University of Athens. He made his literary debut in 1969. Since then, he has published over forty books (fiction, short stories, fairy-tales, and essays).
In 1998 he was awarded the State Literary Prize for Juvenile Literature and this year he is a Nominee for the Hans Christian Andersen Award
