Zoumpoulákis, Stávros

Stavros Zoumboulakis was born in Sykia, Lakonia in 1953. He studied Law and Philology in Athens and Philosophy in Paris.
He worked for many years as a Greek literature master in secondary education.
So far he has published:
Saint John the Baptist as an Angel. The Theological Presuppositions of his Visual Representation, Domos, Athens 1992.
God in the Polis. Essays on Religion and Politics. Hestia Publishers, Athens, 2002.
He translated and introduced Emannuel Levinas’ Four Talmudic Lectures, Polis, Athens 1995.
He currently directs the Nea Hestia literary review.
